2. Description of Service
UX Lens is an AI-powered platform that analyzes websites against established usability heuristics, including Nielsen's 10 Usability Heuristics. Our service provides automated UX audits, actionable recommendations, and detailed reports to help improve website user experience.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Starter Plan
Starter accounts are limited to a specified number of audits. Features may be restricted compared to paid plans.
Paid Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method at the beginning of each billing period. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. After this period, subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use UX Lens to:
- Audit websites you do not own or have permission to analyze
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt our services
- Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
- Use automated tools to access our service beyond normal usage
- Submit malicious screenshots or content
AI-Generated Analysis
UX Lens uses artificial intelligence to analyze your website and generate UX recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or incomplete assessments. You acknowledge that our AI analysis is advisory in nature and should be reviewed by qualified professionals before implementation. We continuously improve our AI models but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of all recommendations.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Content
UX Lens, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of websites and content you submit for audit. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to analyze and process your content for the purpose of providing our services.
Audit Reports
You own the audit reports generated for your websites. You may use, share, and modify these reports as you see fit, including for commercial purposes.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
UX Lens is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our AI analysis will identify all UX issues or that implementing our recommendations will achieve specific results. Our service is intended as a supplementary tool and should not replace professional UX consultation for critical projects.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UX Lens and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UX Lens, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time through the Settings page.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which UX Lens operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
